DanceWest, Contemporary Dance (Ages 11 – 16)

DanceWest contemporary classes are dynamic, creative and expressive! Providing a fun and exciting way to learn the foundations of contemporary dance technique. Our classes are open to complete beginners to those with more dance experience nurturing everyone to grow in their creative and technical abilities. In this class you will gain the chance to develop your dance technique and learn fun routines as well as develop skills to create choreography. We offer optional performances to go and watch dance and experiences to perform, one class a term is accompanied with live music.

All classes at the Lyric comply with the governments Out of School Settings guidance and will be socially distanced at 2 metres with a maximum group size of 15. A risk assessment is available below that demonstrates the procedures we have taken to mitigate risk in relation to COVID 19 as the host venue. If further restrictions mean that classes cannot go ahead in person, the decision to teach online or offer a refund will be at the discretion of the activity provider. A risk assessment in relation to activity e.g. dance, music etc. is available via the activity provider upon request.
