Spring Half Term: Three Day Play Making
Always wanted to make your own performance, using your imagination and all the ideas you have on the walk home from school and in bed at night? This is your chance!
Join us for a jam packed three day play making project where you will work with professional director, artist and musician Gemma Rogers to create a brand new show! Bring along lots of energy and a BIG imagination as all of the ideas for the performance will come from you. If you have any special talents like writing, singing, dancing, instrument playing, rapping or drawing then let Gemma know on the first day so we can make this a part of the show.
There will be 10-15 young people in the company who will explore stories and characters through creative games. This is your chance to get inventive and sharpen your acting skills.
At the end of the last day we welcome parents, family, carers and friends to come along to see the final show which will run at about 20 minutes long.
Please bring a (nut free) packed lunch! We normally watch a movie on the break in the Lyric’s cinema.
The Lyric is committed to making our classes accessible to all and we use part of your membership fees to fund bursaries for our classes each term.
