Casting Announced for Jack and the Beanstalk
Vikki Stone returns to the Lyric for the second year in a row to add her own brand of hilarious evil to the role of the villainous Fleshcreep.
Christmas starts early at the Lyric and casting is already well underway for our much anticipated annual panto which this year will be Jack and the Beanstalk.
Award-winning comedian, composer and BBC Proms presenter, Vikki Stone will be joined by Cherrelle Skeete who will play the Fairy Godmother. Fresh from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Cherrelle is currently rehearsing at the Lyric in our forthcoming production of The Seagull. Other cast members include: Kayla Meikle who will play Daisy the Cow and Faith Omole who will play Jack.
As usual our ensemble is built up of six young performers, as part of the Lyric Hammersmith’s commitment to nurturing young talent, they are Montel Bowen, Olivia Rose David, Lucy Havard, Jack Pallister, Tienne Simon and Amelia Stevenson. Christmas at the Lyric looks set to be bigger than ever this year as Joe Stilgoe returns to thrill us with three special Christmas themed concerts while Raymond Briggs’s Father Christmas also returns to delight under 6s in our studio. The festive season is always the highlight of the Lyric year and it’s become a great tradition for many people across London to visit us. We’re looking forward to welcoming many more this year!
