The Lyric are organising a special Gala night on Sunday 03 November called ‘Light Up the Lyric’ which will raise vital funds for our work with young people in our community.

The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is a charity, and every year we need to raise close to £1million to deliver our work creating world-class theatre in the heart of Hammersmith.

The Lyric are organising a special Gala night on Sunday 03 November called ‘Light Up the Lyric’ which will raise vital funds for our work with young people in our community.

We wish to ensure that young west Londoners from every background can access the arts, develop their creativity and be supported to reach their potential.

Light up the Lyric will be a truly special evening to showcase all that the Lyric does – there will be entertainment and special performances (the wonderful Mel Giedroyc is already confirmed as the evening’s host), a dinner onstage in our beautiful Frank Matcham designed auditorium and, most importantly, opportunities to raise money through a Live and Silent Auction.

Even if you cannot attend the event, you can place absent bids on prizes in the Silent and Live auction by visiting the dedicated auction website. Prizes include:

– A book of the Fleabag Scriptures signed and dedicated to the winner by writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge
– A private screening of the upcoming Sam Mendes’ blockbuster 1917 with a personal introduction from stars George MacKay and Colin Firth in the Lyric cinema for 50 people
– Lunch at the Clink restaurant in Brixton Prison with actor Matt Smith and playwright Simon Stephens
– Artwork, holidays and other exclusive experiences.
