Friendsgiving by Shona Graham and The Mending Circle by Chloe Yates were selected from over 200 submissions to the Bill Cashmore Award: One Act Play Prize, to be performed by the 2025 SPRINGBOARD trainees.

A community clothes mending circle is locked in by a terrible storm, their safe space under threat by a stranger who arrives with very differing views to their own.

This double bill performance explores how conflicting beliefs, political landscape and online radicalisation has the potential to tear friendships apart, and what can overcome this to bring us back together.
