Apply to join directing masterclass with Rachel O’Riordan
Are you an emerging director that wants to create work for a big theatre? Then you should apply to take part in our free masterclass with Artistic Director, Rachel O’Riordan on Monday 18 May.
Our artistic work in the Main House is programmed to celebrate our unique 125-year old proscenium arch theatre designed by the famous theatre designer and architect Frank Matcham, which opened on the 20 July 1895.
On Sunday 17 May the Lyric alongside Matcham theatres across the UK will mark the 100th anniversary of Matcham’s death on social media with #Matcham100 – a celebration of the theatres that Matcham designed. To further mark the anniversary on Monday 18 May from 11am – 1pm, Rachel will host a masterclass on directing in a proscenium arch theatre like the Lyric.
The masterclass will be free and to apply email your CV and 100 words on why you’d like to take part in this masterclass to learning@lyric.co.uk by 10am on Thursday 14 May.
