Ivan Rockey announced as Lyric’s New Director of Finance & Resources
The Lyric is delighted to welcome Ivan to the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Director of Finance and Resources, Ivan Rockey, who will join the Lyric later this year.
Ivan joins us having spent six years as the Director of Finance, Operations and Governance at the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He was responsible for the financial management of over 500 concerts and productions in more than 20 countries and oversaw an increase in the orchestra’s annual income during his time there. Cumulatively, he has held senior leadership roles in performing arts organisations for nearly 20 years, having previously worked at the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and the British Youth Opera.
About taking on the role, Ivan said:
I am thrilled to be joining the team at the Lyric, and look forward to playing a role in a theatre whose mission so clearly spans an extraordinary range of work and which seeks to engage with so many communities on so many levels.
Ivan also holds a degree in Music from Oxford University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University.
