150 plays by writers from the global majority is a brand new resource to support secondary school teachers, directors, facilitators, lecturers and students with finding texts that reflect their own culture and/or heritage, and to introduce students to culture and heritages different to their own. Created by Representation in Drama (RinD), part of the London Theatre Consortium, with designer Kunmi Ogunsola, the list was originally made to encourage Drama exam boards to update their specifications and has now been expanded as a resource for educational and creative practitioners. These plays can be used for study in the classroom, as a reading list to broaden your knowledge and for youth theatre productions. It is essential that all students feel represented, a sense of belonging and have a better understanding and knowledge of our global community, in which they exist. This list includes Tanika Gupta's adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, which we commissioned in 2019. Find the education pack for A Doll's House here.
