Inclusion

The Lyric is committed to delivering high quality arts provision for the most at risk, vulnerable and marginalised groups of young people.

Our Inclusion programmes are designed for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people, providing the first step onto a ladder of opportunity for those that are least likely to access mainstream creative activities. We believe that participation in the arts can support young people to develop confidence and learn new skills allowing them to achieve their potential; celebrate freedom of expression and cultivate an inclusive environment where young people are encouraged to take risks and are empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

We offer a portfolio of flagship programmes and also bespoke collaborations to design arts programmes which meet the needs of particular groups of young people. Our projects work with over 120 vulnerable and disadvantaged young people every year aged 11-25 years.
