The Lyric has been recognised as a sector-leader in theatre and the arts being used to support the development of children and young people.
This is through our targeted programmes for young people out of employment or education who can use theatre to build soft skills and confidence; our next generation work which provides alternative means to access classes and training in the performing arts; or our platforms for young artists to showcase and produce their own creative work.
These areas of our work and other programmes are made possible with the support of a number of dedicated Trusts and Foundations.
Read more about some of the examples of Lyric activities which are currently generously supported by Trusts and Foundations below.
Our flagship programme for marginalised 16 to 21 year olds offers an accredited six week training course.Read more
