Ele McKenzie

Ele McKenzie joined the Lyric’s Acting Up classes five years ago, she was a member of the Lyric Ensemble 2018/19 and has performed in Lyric in the Square and Ad Nauseam as part of the Evolution Festival. She said: “To me theatre is people, coming together and merging their different arts and skills as a means of creating a visual, aural, living expression of ideas. Therefore, it was collaborative essence of this project, and the emphasis on community, on people, that really excited me, especially after such a long period of isolation.” Before the pandemic she was working in a cinema and has also performed with other youth groups in London.
