One of Britain’s most celebrated actors, Dame Harriet Walter (Sense and Sensibility, Succession, Killing Eve and countless roles on stage), brings her book She Speaks! to the Lyric, an imagining of what Shakespeare’s women might have been secretly thinking and letting them speak their mind.
For one night only, Harriet will be joined in our Frank Matcham auditorium by an incredible cast including Leah Harvey (Small Island – NT, Foundation), Gloria Obianyo (Girl from the North Country – Old Vic), Amber Grappy (One Day), Imogen Elliott (As You Like It – Theatre Royal Bath) and Hannah Azuonye (Measure for Measure – RSC).
Enjoy Shakespeare’s women in this special performance, giving voice to Harriet’s smart, brilliant and hilarious alternative insights into some iconic female characters.
