ReAct Festival: Harris Lowe Academy Groups 1 and 2, and King Solomon Academy
Now in its fourth year, the ReAct Festival returns with six powerful new performances, created and performed by 60 young people from inner London secondary schools.
In the first phase of the project, White City Theatre Project delivered drama workshops to over 1,000 Year 8 students from Hammersmith Academy, Phoenix Academy, Ark Acton Academy, Harris Lowe Academy, and King Solomon Academy. From these sessions, six groups of ten students were selected to continue into the next stage of the programme.
Over the past ten weeks, these 60 young people have worked closely with professional theatre practitioners to devise original pieces of theatre, which will be showcased as part of ReAct Festival 2025.
The project has been working in partnership with AllChild to ensure broad engagement and support for the young participants.
