A joyful interactive theatre adventure for ages 2–6
Teddy Bear’s Picnic is a fun-filled, interactive journey packed with songs, dancing, colourful characters, and plenty of opportunities to join in. Now in its 14th year of touring, the show has delighted young audiences across the UK.
The story follows Milly and her favourite toy, Rainy Day Bear, as they set off on an imaginative adventure to make it to the picnic on time. Along the way, they visit magical locations including the Jelly Bean Jungle, the Sea of the Seven Stripy Saucers, and the Curly Coloured Cake Castle. Each world presents playful challenges, brought to life through imaginative use of props and physical storytelling designed to stimulate young imaginations.
The production gently introduces early learning concepts such as numbers, colours, and shapes, and features well-known children’s songs that audiences are encouraged to sing along with, making it an ideal first theatre experience.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic is designed to be performed in any size space, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for young audiences and their families.
