For an exhilarating finale, join us for the closing ceremony of For the Culture: Celebrations of Blackness with an incredible performance from Shan Ako and a Lyric first – our very own For the Culture Choir – made up of Black professional choralists from all over London who’ve come together for one night only to serenade and inspire.
Shan Ako is a renowned singer/songwriter and guitarist drawing on influences from soul, gospel, pop, R&B, jazz, folk and reggae. She appeared in the X Factor finals in 2018 and has since played Eponine in the new full production of Les Miserables, for which she won Best Performer in a Musical at The Stage Debut Awards.
