Book in for your company to ‘Run a Theatre for a Day’ at the Lyric, providing the perfect away day whilst supporting the arts in West London.
For a minimum donation of £1000 (+ 20% VAT), up to 10 colleagues will have an inspiring, fun day at the theatre. Volunteers will work as part of the Front of House team to make sure that the performance runs smoothly – ushering, answering patron’s questions, and helping with wayfinding. As a charity, we value this help to give patrons the best experience possible and to give our hard-working team time to do other duties as well as to learn from volunteers how we might improve the experience with their feedback and ideas.
Volunteers will learn about the behind the scenes life of one of the UK’s leading theatres while playing their part in running a show. Once the audience are seated the volunteers will watch the show, if they wish, and then volunteer again during the interval, and help at the end of the show to ready the auditorium for the next performance. ‘Run a Theatre for a Day’ timing is about 4 hours 30 mins from arrival to end of the show.
Corporate volunteering days are available during each run on matinee performances (subject to the producer’s schedule). When you make your enquiry we will send you several dates to choose from for upcoming shows.
