An innovative development programme aimed at newly qualified drama/theatre teachers working in state secondary schools within the 10 Boroughs of West London: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond, Wandsworth and Westminster.
The free programme aims to support teachers starting their drama teaching careers, for their first 5 years, through bespoke teacher CPD, theatre tickets and networking opportunities.
We understand that recruitment and retention of teachers is a challenge for schools across London and Nationally. Our aim is to assist the development of talent within our local school communities.
First Class is inspired by the ground breaking Education Program at Belvoir St Theatre in Sydney, Australia.

- 2 tickets to all main house productions (subject to availability)
- Invite to all teacher CPD from the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre annual programme

Terms & Conditions:
- You must work in a state secondary school within one of the 10 West London Boroughs: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond, Wandsworth and Westminster.
- You must be a Drama/Theatre teacher in the first 5 years of teaching – you are only eligible within the first 5 years of qualification, regardless of when you sign up to the programme.
- Theatre tickets are subject to availability. You will receive 2 tickets for you and a guest – no transfers allowed.
