Autumn 2024 was the launch of the Lyric Schools Circle, a new initiative for Independent Schools in West London to support access to performances at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre for state secondary schools and students in the local area.
We all believe that everyone deserves to experience the life changing impact of theatre and this partnership allows Independent schools to unlock a range of benefits for all pupils to access special school performances of main house productions, free wrap around professional development for teachers and the chance to build networks and relationships between schools. Through an annual membership fee, Independent schools open up a range of benefits including free tickets for a partner state schools, back stage tours and access to other exclusive events including Q&As with cast and creatives of selected productions.
