The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre are inviting young people with SEND in *West London to attend our relaxed performances to our Christmas shows for free.

Jack & The Beanstalk (age recommendation 6+)
Join our hero Jack and his trusty cow on an adventure of gigantic proportions, a festive treat for the whole family from the heart of West London.
Following 2024’s magical Aladdin, writer Sonia Jalaly and Nicholai La Barrie are climbing back on board to bring the classic Lyric twist to this epic fairy tale. Expect beanstalk-sized chaos, side-splitting comedy, chart-topping tunes and much more.
Father Christmas (age recommendation under 6)
Christmas isn’t Christmas without this Lyric family favourite, co-produced with the Olivier Award-nominated Pins & Needles Productions. Please note that seating for this performance is unreserved, and that buggies cannot be taken into the Studio auditorium.
Relaxed performances are specifically planned and programmed to welcome young people who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment. This could include:
- There will be a social story and easy read story
- The auditorium will open earlier than usual
- The actors will come on stage before the show to introduce themselves
- You will be able to leave and re-enter the auditorium as you like and there will be breakout spaces available
- You will be able to talk and make noise
- All sound will be played at a lower volume and some house lights will stay on during the show
- Some stage effects and stage effects will be adjusted
- Some auditorium doors may stay open
Who are these free tickets for?
- *These tickets are only available for SEND young people who live in or attend schools in the following London boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, City of London and Westminster.
If you do not reside in these boroughs, you are still able to purchase tickets to attend any relaxed performance of Jack and the Beanstalk or Father Christmas.
