This workshop with multi-talented composer Liam Godwin will take you on a creative journey of stage composition, equipping you with valuable insights for your own projects. You can expect to walk away with a new toolkit to help you approach music and composition from a professional perspective.

Liam is a British – born, multi-instrumentalist musical director, composer, and conductor, working across both Musical Theatre and within the music industry. His credits include: Musical Supervisor / Arranger, Play On!, Talawa Theatre Company, Associate Musical Director / Keys 2, The Big Life, Stratford East, Pianist for Mel C, Bill Kenwright CBE Memorial, Liverpool Cathedral, Musical Director/Arrangements/Orchestrations, West End Musical Christmas 2023, The Adelphi Theatre, West End Musical Christmas 2022, The Lyric Theatre, Associate Musical Director, Bat Boy, The London Palladium. Vocal Arranger, Musical Con 2023, The Excel Centre London, Rock Follies, Chichester Festival Theatre, Co-Musical Director/Additional Arrangements/Keyboard Programming and playing Raymond in Misty, The Shed, New York, Original Associate Musical Director and then Deputy Musical Director for Get Up Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, The Lyric Theatre, Keyboard for BBC’s Big Night of Musicals 2022, AO Arena, Manchester, Vocalist for The BRIT Awards 2020, The O2 Arena, Musical Director/Pianist for Andrew Lloyd Webber Tribute Concert, The Other Palace Theatre, Choir MD/Vocal Arranger/Singer for The BRIT Awards Diamond Dinner 2019, The Intercontinental Hotel.

Liam graduated from The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, studying Musical Theatre for 4 years – gaining 2 University Arts London (UAL) Extended Diplomas in Musical Theatre. Additionally, Liam has a Bachelor of Music Degree with Honours in Popular Music Performance – Specialising in Vocals.
