A Drag Night Variety Show hosted by Aurora KillsJoin one of our London Marathon runners this year, Aurora Kills, who is raising money on behalf of the Lyric. As part of her fundraising, she is hosting the most glamorous and fantastical soirée, filled with delectable guest performers for a night of music, comedy, and more.
She’s only just completed last year’s London Marathon in record-breaking time (namely the record for the slowest completion of a marathon ever) but Aurora Kills has somehow found herself signed up to run it again in 2022 for the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre!
As part of her very intensive and professionally-approved training routine, Aurora is hosting the most glamorous and fantastic fundraising soirée filled with delectable guest performers, outrageous costumes, and gallons of booze (non-alcoholic beverages are begrudgingly available too). Aurora has been reliably informed that lifting two champagne flutes, filled with W6’s finest bubbles, to your mouth is the equivalent of lifting two 3KG dumbbells so it’s a workout as well as a party. The iconic show will be followed by a discotheque (as Aurora understands the Gen Zs and Tik-Tokers like to call it now).
Did we mention your ticket will include a free drink? And there’ll be a raffle plus a sample sale from our costume department. Oh, and all the money raised will be funding the magnificent work of the Lyric. So get booking!
Dress Code: Go glam…or whatever you want! Aurora will be serving glamour though so get ready for an unforgettable night.
