This year we have exciting emerging directors Lyse Marcelle and Lorraine Bitmead work with third-year BA Theatre Design students from Wimbledon College of Arts, Emilia Mendez and Agnes Yeung to re-lens 30 minute extracts of classic plays.
Lorraine and Agnes relocate the Greek classic The Clouds to the House of Commons. Lyse and Emilia take us to the 1970’s with a new focus on the title characters in Strindberg’s The Father.

Evolution Labs was set up in 2016 by Young Lyric and the BA Theatre Design course at Wimbledon College of Arts as a much needed collaborative opportunity for early career directors and designers to meet and co-create new work.
