This month we launched our #ClimateEmergency campaign on the theme of emergency. We are exploring what we might do differently as an organisation and as individuals as we live through this climate crisis.

The Lyric has pledged to be net carbon zero by 2030 and, if we are to get there, we need to know what the real impact of each of the things we do and buy. How can we collectively make better decisions that still fits in with our lives in a way that feels hopeful and fun?

As its half-term, we’re kicking off with some events for our local families!

Baby Clothes Swap at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre!

Come by the Lyric for our baby clothes swap. Bring some baby/children clothes and swap them for something new(ish)!

Nappy Natters at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre!

If you are pregnant or have a baby and live in Hammersmith & Fulham, you are entitled to a free real nappy voucher worth £45. This can be used to purchase any reusable nappies and related accessories from the Washable Nappy Company.

All you need to do is bring proof of identity, address and birth or pregnancy.

You will be able to find all the information you need to get started including which nappies to buy, how to use reusable nappies and washing and drying tips. There is also a real nappy demonstration and the opportunity to buy real nappies.
