Spring 2021 Young Lyric classes on sale now
We are delighted to announce the return of Young Lyric classes for ages 0-25 years. With accessible classes in acting, dancing and music going on sale today, running for 10 weeks and starting in person from January 2021.
Young Lyric classes are delivered by the nine Young Lyric Partners; Action on Disability, AMICI Dance Theatre Company, Dance West, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Musiko Musika, New English Ballet Theatre, Tri-Borough Music Hub, Turtle Key Arts and Zoo Nation. The Young Lyric Partners all have unique expertise and work in partnership to nurture young talent and creativity in West London.
All classes will follow the Governments Out of School Settings Guidance for those aged 0-18. Classes will be sold to a maximum of 15 participants per term to avoid any mixing of young people outside of activity bubbles. You can read our FAQs on classes here
Director of Young Lyric, Rob Lehmann said: “We are delighted that we can safely programme our classes at the Lyric for young people in West London. Pre pandemic the Lyric welcomed over 700 young people into the building each week and although we may not resume to that capacity for some time, we are delighted that the creativity, expertise and impact of the arts for young people will once again populate and thrive within our building from January 2021.”
To book a class you need to be a Young Lyric Member, costing £10 a year. The membership provides access to classes, £5 tickets to all Lyric Main House shows and further creative opportunities throughout the year. Find out how to join here.
