Celebrate Summer at the Lyric
Last week were excited to announce our summer happenings at the Lyric. From our free outdoor festival, Lyric in the Square, with HammersmithLondon to workshops and classes to fun in the sun on our glorious Roof Garden.
Lyric in the Square, our outdoor theatre festival, brings free performances to Lyric Square every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout June.
The line up includes the Lyric Young Company’s Infinity Series (06 & 07 Jun), Zest Theatre’s silent disco physical theatre peformance First Person (13 – 14 Jun), Far From The Norm’s Hip Hop socio-political dance performance Da Native (20 – 21 Jun) and our partner DanceWest’s Dance in the Square (26 – 28 Jun).
It will be the seventh year we have partnered with Hammersmith London to bring free theatre to the streets of Hammersmith and we really hope you can come along to enjoy the shows we have to offer.
For our Young Lyric members this summer we will be hosting a range of holiday classes that will see them create a new musical, a new film and two performances.
Plus, there will be a film project with the Tri-borough Virtual School, where the young people will take on their own creative roles and learn from professionals in the industry. And the Lyric’s company of disabled and non-disabled young people, Journeys will also create a new piece of work which they will perform in the Lyric Studio.

To top it all off come and enjoy one of the hidden gems of west London, our beautiful rooftop garden. Perfect for an after work drink or to celebrate a special occasion with friends – even if the occasion is simply the arrival of the sun!
Our Roof Garden can help you get your zen on this summer as YogaBox join us for a series of pop ups at the Lyric. Together with Lululemon, YogaBox will provide a heart-pumping workout bringing yoga and boxing into the same class, followed by healthy refreshments from the Lyric’s Bar & Grill.
